Recycle for London

Recycling in Croydon - an overview

Recycling collections from home

Croydon provide a twin box recycling collection from home every two weeks, in blue and green recycling boxes. You can recycle paper card, textiles, shoes in your blue box and glass, cans and plastic bottles in your green box. Both boxes are collected on the same day.

If you live on an estate you may still have access to recycling services. Recycling bins are provided either in the bin storage area or close by. The estates recycling sites normally have three different bins, which are clearly labelled, for mixed paper, glass bottles and jars, cans and plastic bottles.
